WATCH: Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen Turn "Whip My Hair" Into a Slow Jam

WATCH: Jimmy Fallon and Bruce Springsteen Turn "Whip My Hair" Into a Slow Jam

In case you needed any further proof that Willow Smith's "Whip My Hair" is 2010's most inescapably infectious hit, look no further than last night's episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Host Jimmy Fallon, who just a few weeks ago performed a hip-hop history duet with Justin Timberlake, teamed up with another musical heavyweight to pay homage to the pint-sized star's chart topper.

The funnyman, doing his best Neil Young impersonation, turned the pop ditty into a warbled acoustic number, complete with a harmonica and guitar. Is there anything more hilarious than hearing the lyrics "Pay no attention to them haters/Cause we whip 'em off" through the voice of Neil Young?

Why, yes, yes there is. Halfway through the inspired cover, Bruce Springsteen (you read that right, Bruce Springsteen!) popped in to lend his trademark vocals.  The appearance not only showed that Springsteen (whom Fallon famously impersonated at the 2010 Emmys) has a good sense of humor, but it reminded fans why he's still "The Boss."
