Married for over 27 years to actress wife Pauletta Pearson, Denzel Washington has unearthed the secret to a successful relationship. "Do what she tells me!" Washington tells iVillage exclusively. "Trust me. Keep your mouth shut," he says with a laugh.
A seeming pro at marriage, the Oscar winner is once again proving he's a pro at action thrillers as well, starring in Unstoppable (in theaters Nov. 12), his fifth collaboration with director Tony Scott (Man on Fire, Deja Vu). But making the movie, in which the actor plays a train engineer trying to stop an unmanned train, was intense even for him. "I don't like trains going 50 mph," Washington admits. "This was a little scary."
